Do I need a BER rating to use this?
No. Select "I don't know" on the BER step and the calculator continues. You will need a BER assessment before applying for most grants. SEAI contributes €50 toward this cost.
Can I start work before I get SEAI approval?
No. Starting any works, ordering materials or signing a binding start date before written SEAI approval permanently disqualifies your grant for that measure. Apply first, receive written approval, then proceed.
